Hi, My name is Sachin Kogekar. I welcome you to my homepage.

I am consultant with a leading management consulting firm based out of Arlingon, VA. I like to travel and my job allows me to visit interesting places almost every week!

I graduated in Dec 2004 with a Master's degree in Computer Science from  Vanderbilt University. VU or Vandy as it is more popularly known has a great campus located just 5 minutes from downtown Nashville, TN (USA). The whole area is very green and the campus has been designated as a National Arboretum.

I grew up in the beautiful city of Pune (about 110 kms east of Mumbai-formerly Bombay) right on the Deccan Plateau and close to the Western Ghats (Sahyadris). Pune is famous for its many well-known educational institutions and more recently as a major software center in India.

I completed my undergraduate education in Computer Engineering from the Sinhgad College of Engg, Pune (Affiliated to the University of Pune) and later worked at Datascan Information Systems, a company specializing in the development and implementation of customized Enterprise-Resource-Planning (ERP) Software solutions. It was started by my father in 1982.

My hobbies include travelling, hiking and movies.
